Mozilla has unveiled a mobile version of Firefox that works on Mameo-powered Nokia devices like the Nokia N900. The browser includes many features taken straight from the desktop version of Firefox 3.6, including the type-ahead Awesome Bar, mobile add-on compatibility, and tabbed browsing.

Firefox for Mameo also features Weave Sync, which synchronizes Firefox tabs, history, bookmarks, and passwords between the desktop and mobile devices. In addition, the browser is location-aware, supports Instant Web Site IDs for safe browsing, and works in over 30 languages.
